Committed to advancing the standards of conservation of cultural heritage in India, the Leon Levy Foundation and Mehrangarh Museum Trust (MMT) have been working together for more than a decade on several conservation projects and training programmes. With generous funding from the Leon Levy Foundation, Mehrangarh Museum Trust is conducting a series of four-week conservation programmes at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur, and Ahhichatragarh Fort, Nagaur. The programme is intended for professionals working in the field of conservation of tangible cultural heritage in India and focuses on various aspects related to conservation such as documentation, museum imaging, technical imaging, and photogrammetry.

The initial programme was offered during November/December 2022 and the call for the 2024 program is now closed. The selection of the participants will be through applications, followed by online interviews. There is no fee for the programme and boarding will be provided by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust.
